Title：Interregional Workshop on Good Practices and Safety and Regulatory Aspects of In-situ Leaching for Uranium Production
Purpose：The purpose of the workshop is to exchange and share information regarding good practices and safety and regulatory aspects of in-situ leaching for uranium production, as well as to review the progress made under the project and any new demands that have been identified by the participating Member States. The workshop will discuss and identify the emerging issues and demands in participating Member States in developing and managing uranium production activities. The project implementation will be reviewed for improvement of progress where appropriate and for planning of future activities under INT2019.

Participants:?according to the registration form, there will be more than 70 people from more than 40 countries (international organizations) attended the meeting, which include IAEA officials 3 people, IAEA invited experts, 7 people, more than 60 people in other countries. And more than about 50 people from the Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy, Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology, the Fourth Research and Design Engineering Corporation of CNNC, East China University of Technology, University of South China and other units will attend the meeting.
